Bharadvajasana
aka: gentle spinal twist
Exercise: Sit with your legs folded in, heels in line with each other Inhale and lilt through the top of the sternum to lengthen the front torso. Then exhale and twist your torso to the side. Place your hand to the floor in back of you while the other presses against the knee to deepen the torso twist. Look towards the back.
Physical Benefit: Stretches the spine, shoulders, and hips.
Mental Benefit: Relieves the stress.
